Dentistry benefits (2022):
Assume scheme pays all these costs, unless otherwise stated
Standard Dentistry:
R6,000 per person and R8,600 per family
Shared with radiology, pathology, basic dentistry, biokineticist and physiotherapy
Unlimited per child <6 yrs once day-to-day is depleted.
Specialised Dentistry:
From day-to-day benefit , with a R2,000 co-payment
In-Hospital Dentistry:
Maxillofacial and oral surgery- in-and-out of hospital combined limit: shared with Specialised Dentistry benefit
Otherwise, R4,000 co-payment
Orthodontics:

Optometry:
R5,700 per family , every 2 years
Frames: R560 per person , as part of above limit
Lenses and contact lenses: R1,000 per person , as part of above limit
Radial keratotomy and excimer laser: from above limit
