More about Dr Robyn Marshall

Dr Robyn Marshall completed her undergraduate medical studies at the University of Pretoria in 2005. She then studied Haematology at the University of the Witwatersrand obtaining her MMed and College degrees in 2012. She then continued to work at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital as a consultant in the Haematology Department and moved to Ampath Laboratories in 2015.

During this time she fostered a strong interest in research, especially with regards to the molecular and genetic aspects of Haematology as well as the need for integration of laboratory and clinical components.

While spending some time working at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in Sydney from 2015 – 2017 she also obtained an additional degree in Haematology from the Royal College of Pathologists of Australia.

Her interest lies in travelling and her spare time is spent with family and friends.
