3.1 rehealth Is Not a Brokerage or Financial Services Provider
- rehealth is an independent information and comparison platform. rehealth is not a registered medical aid broker, financial services provider (FSP), or authorised financial services representative.
- The individuals operating rehealth are not authorised to sell, intermediate, or provide advice on medical aid schemes, gap cover, or any other financial product as contemplated in the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, 2002 (FAIS) or the Medical Schemes Act, 1998.
- The Review is prepared in collaboration with rehealth’s Brokerage Partner. However, the Review itself does not constitute a brokerage service, and no broker–client relationship is created between you and either rehealth or its Brokerage Partner by virtue of requesting or receiving a Review.
3.2 No Advice
- The Review is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, financial advice, insurance advice, or any other form of professional advice.
- The Review is based solely on the information you provide and publicly available plan information at the time of preparation. It may not reflect the most current plan terms, benefits, premiums, or network arrangements.
- You should not make any decisions regarding your medical aid, gap cover, or healthcare arrangements based solely on the Review. You are encouraged to seek independent professional advice before making any changes to your cover.
- rehealth and its Brokerage Partner accept no responsibility for any decisions you make, or fail to make, based on the Review.
3.3 No Compensation
Neither rehealth nor its Brokerage Partner receives any fee, commission, or other compensation for providing the Review. Compensation is only earned if and when you separately and voluntarily submit a formal broker appointment form, and that appointment is accepted by both the Brokerage Partner and the relevant medical aid scheme or gap cover provider. The Review process and any subsequent broker appointment are entirely separate engagements.
4. Your Information

5.2 How Your Information Is Used
Your Personal Information is used exclusively for the purpose of preparing and delivering your Review. It will not be used for marketing purposes unless you have separately opted in to receive communications from rehealth (for example, by subscribing to a newsletter).
5.3 Data Retention
- Your Personal Information will be retained for a period of 12 (twelve) months from the date of submission, after which it will be securely deleted.
- If, within the 12-month period, you engage further with rehealth or its Brokerage Partner (for example, by submitting a broker appointment form), your information may be retained for a longer period in accordance with the terms of that separate engagement.
- You may request the early deletion of your Personal Information at any time by contacting rehealth in writing. rehealth will comply with such a request within a reasonable period.
5.4 Data Security
rehealth takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your Personal Information against unauthorised access, loss, destruction, or alteration. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and rehealth cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Delivery of Review
- The Review will be delivered to you via email in PDF format to the email address you provide on the Form.
- rehealth will use reasonable efforts to deliver the Review within a reasonable timeframe, but does not guarantee any specific turnaround time.
- rehealth reserves the right to decline to prepare a Review for any reason, including but not limited to incomplete submissions or requests that fall outside the scope of the service.
7. Limitation of Liability

- To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, rehealth and its Brokerage Partner shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or in connection with the Review, your reliance on the Review, any errors or omissions in the Review, or any decisions made or not made based on the Review.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless rehealth, its Brokerage Partner, and their respective owners, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from or related to your submission of inaccurate or misleading information, your misuse of the Review, or any breach of these Terms.
9. Intellectual Property
- The Review, including its format, structure, branding, and design, is the intellectual property of rehealth.
- You may use the Review for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, or share the Review publicly without the prior written consent of rehealth.
