  • Preventative dentistry: paid by Bestmed. Includes exam, radiographs, scaling and polishing, fissure sealing and space maintainers
  • Standard dentistry: R6,534 per person and R13,124 per family fromday-to-day benefit.
  • Benefit shared with specialised dentistry
Specialised Dentistry:
  • From day-to-day benefit
  • R5,887 per person and R11,825 per family
  • Benefit shared with standard dentistry
In-Hospital Dentistry:
  • Dental and oral surgery: R11,673 per family, in or out of hospital
  • Major maxillofacial surgery: R15,244 per family
Orthodontics:
  • Subject to pre-authorisation
