Dentistry benefits (2024):

Standard Dentistry:
  • From day-to-day benefit
  • R14,403 per person and R24,310 per family
  • Benefit shared with specialised dentistry
Specialised Dentistry:

In-Hospital Dentistry:
  • Dental and oral surgery: R23,345 per family, in or out of hospital
  • Major maxillofacial surgery: R15,105 per family
Orthodontics:
  • From day-to-day benefit
  • Only for 18yrs+

  • DSPs: Designated Service Provders. Where stipulated, you must use specific specific providers to get full benefit.
  • Co-payment: Paid out of pocket, or out of savings account. Sometimes this is refundable to you if you have a gap product
