Dentistry benefits (2022):

Standard Dentistry:
  • Unlimited
Specialised Dentistry:
  • R6,960 per person and R15,852 per family
In-Hospital Dentistry:
  • Children under 12yrs, and impacted wisdom teeth: R13,820 per family
Orthodontics:

  • PMBs: Prescribed Minimum Benfits. To read more about PMBs click here
  • DSPs: Designated Service Provders. Where stipulated, you must use specific specific providers to get full benefit.
  • Co-payment: Paid out of pocket, or out of savings account. Sometimes this is refundable to you if you have a gap product

  • Benefit for glasses every 2 yrs, and every yr for contact lenses
