More about Dr Murray Augustyn

Dr Murray Augustyn grew up in Stellenbosch and finished his medical degree in 2005 at the University of Stellenbosch becoming a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society. After finishing his community service at Stanza Bopape he spent 2 years treating neck, shoulder and spinal injuries/conditions after receiving training in functional rehabilitation through DBC-SA. In 2009 he went into private general practice during which time he obtaining his Diploma in Clinical Densitometry. He joined the ABJ practice in 2011 where he spends most of his time managing ward patients with haematological cancers and those undergoing stem cell transplants. He is also involved with the clearance of healthy stem cell donors.

His hobbies include videography, motorcycling, travelling, and gardening. He is married to Jolandie and they have a beautiful baby boy, Liam.
